Well, this is nice isn’t it. Welcome to the new and improved Unbored. Go grab a beer from the fridge, and get me one while you’re at it will you?

I’d like to start by making a big shout-out to the magnificent Jonny Harris for spending the four months building this absolute beauty of a site all off his own back, sacrificing his spare time purely in the name of Unbored.

You may be a little overwhelmed by all this right now, so here are a few tips for truly understanding the new Unbored on a carnal level.

1. The Facebook box:

Isn’t it pretty? Click the LIKE button to show your appreciation towards the site. We make various updates on news and stuff on our Facebook page, as the site continues to grow we’ll start using it more and more.

2. Sharing Unbored with your friends.

If you hover your mouse over any of the posts on the front page you may notice a little heart symbol in the bottom left of the icon. If you click that you will go to a page that lets you handily share the page with any of your friends on almost any social networking site on the web.

3. Follow Unbored like a stalker.

Up in the top right corner of the pages you’ll see icons for following us on Facebook, Twitter, RSS and Youtube.

4. Ads, or selling out.

Yes, we now have ads up on the site. Maybe they’ll help push the site ahead and let me do what I love even more seriously. So why not take a look at them every now and then rather than blank them out like we all do?

5. Plans… so many plans.

I have a lot of things I’d like to do with this new site, bringing it kicking and screaming into the twenty first century. I can’t wait for you to see what we come up with.

So what do you think guys? Let’s see what the new comment section is like! What would you like to see more of?
